The Covert Alert App will be featured on WRTV Channel 6 tonight at 6:00 PM. The Covert Alert App can be downloaded on any android or IOS Apple device and will recognize a phrase you say to trigger automatic recording and automatic notification of your location to friends and/or law enforcement.
The app can be downloaded to your device at no charge and provides an element of safety without anyone knowing you called for help and gave your location.
The Clinton County connection? The company that is developing the app is owned by Lucrative Innovations, Inc. One of the three major stockholders and an officer in Lucrative Innovations, Inc. is Clinton County resident and businessman Sherman Winski, CFO.
Covert Alert is currently active, downloadable and is even being vetted by Butler University for student use on and off campus.
Donnie Cook, in the Marion County Sheriff Department and Craig Bracken, CEO are also active the company.
