Craig W. Uitts, 66, of rural Frankfort, died March 3, 2019 unexpectedly, at his home. Born January 11, 1953 in Clinton County, IN to Bernard W. “Barney” & Rosemary (Jones) Uitts. He married Katherine Cline on June 30, 1979 in Goldsmith, IN and she survives.
Craig was a 1971 graduate of Clinton Central High School and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He was a lifelong Clinton County resident. He worked at Fairground Implement, Inc., then Boehringer Mannheim/Bio-Dynamics as an electronic medical machine reconditioner. He was a long-time farmer, retiring in 2014. Craig was a baseball coach in Kempton, IN and at Clinton Central, coaching his sons. He was also a former home plate umpire. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, gardening, fishing and NASCAR racing, especially

Uitts of Frankfort, 5 Grandchildren: Madelyn, Evellynn, Aubrey, Easton and Ellanore Uitts. He was preceded in death by his father, Barney in 2000, his mother, Rosemary in 2015 and his brother, Bradley W. Uitts in 2012.
Funeral Celebration:
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral celebration will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 8th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Normanda Cemetery, Tipton County, Ind. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, envelopes will be available.
