On May 17, 2025, at approximately 10:22 am., Clinton County Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a crash in the area of McKinley Avenue and Short Myrtle Avenue.
On arrival, officers observed that a vehicle traveling west on McKinley struck a bicyclist that was proceeding south out of an alley. The driver was unable to stop in time. The bicyclist, a ten-year old male, was seriously injured. He was airlifted to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. His condition is critical.
Standard alcohol and drug tests were administered due to the seriousness of the injuries.
The investigation remains active. Once the investigation concludes, more information can be requested.
Clinton County EMS, Frankfort Fire Department and Clinton County Sheriff’s Office responded with our department.
