Crossing School Starts, Closed Since March 13th

On Monday, July 27th the Crossing will re-open its doors to students for the first time since Friday, March 13th.

“All staff are returning from last year and are eager to begin again” according to Campus Administrator Marissa Mills.

Masks, social distancing, and new daily cleaning protocols may take a little while to get used to, according to Mills, but the core foundations of the school will remain the same:  “Empowering struggling students to become contributing members of their community through academics, career pathways, and faith-based character education.”

The Crossing is grateful for partnerships with Richey Athletics, the YMCA, the Fairgrounds, and many others.  In the near future, the school will be starting a renovation project to create two kitchen stations for students to pursue a culinary pathway.  We would like to thank our local Rotary for initiating this project.

“The normal welcome from board members on the first day of school Monday will not happen and all students will have their temperature taken to enter the building” said board President Susan Kaspar.
