Curbside Pickup Coming to Frankfort Public Library

Library employees are returning to work on a reduced schedule to prepare for eventual reopening.  Libraries have been classified as medium-risk environments for COVID-19.  The Board of Trustees and Library Director have made the decision to carefully and thoughtfully reopen our facility, slowly and with concern for your safety as well as the safety of library staff.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we begin this process.

The book drops are now open for you to return library materials on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturdays 10 a.m.– 2 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursdays 3-7 p.m.  We are not charging fines and fees at this time, so there is no need to rush your materials back to the library. Beginning Monday, May 18th, we will offer curbside pickup for holds placed through your library account on myfcpl.org or by phone (765) 654-8746.  Curbside pickup will be contact free and staff will place materials in your vehicle’s trunk or cargo-hold.  We are also offering limited computer use, printing, faxing, and copying services via curbside service beginning May 18.  Curbside service hours are the same as the book drop hours:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursdays 3-7 p.m.  More details on this service will be posted on our website and social media later this week.
