Darby Greeno

Darby Greeno, 50, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Frankfort on May 21, 1970 to Donald L. and Effa Louise (Biddle) Greeno.  He married Krystal Bell on June 23, 2000; she survives.

Darby graduated as from Clinton Central High School in 1989.  He played the trumpet in the marching band and was involved in 4-H.  A lifelong Clinton County resident, he worked as a welder for Donaldson Company from 1999-2013 and had currently been working as a fork truck operator for ConAgra. Darby enjoyed playing video games, hunting arrowheads, gardening, being outdoors and chasing storms.  He was a thinker with a great sense of humor.

Along with his wife, Darby is survived by his parents; mother-in-law, Vivian Bell; children, Lukas and Shelby (fiancé, Hassan); brother, Darryl (Teresa) of Oregon; sister, Leah (Bill) Schalk of North Carolina; and grandchildren, Nyasia and Ahmir.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral service will be Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home with live-stream video of the service available at www.gendafuneralhome.com.  Pastor Merv McNair will officiate.  Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery.
