Darcy Carr Morrison, 93, of Indianapolis, Ind., died September 23, 2022 at I.U. Health West Hospital, Avon, Ind. She was born on March 10, 1929 in Hammond, Indiana to Robert McKinley DeWeese and Frances (Carr) DeWeese. Married Jerry Lee Morrison on December 10, 1969 
and he survives.
Darcy graduated in 1947 from Shortridge High School. She was a civil service employee working for Selected Services and the Internal Revenue Service. She was previously a member of the Indianapolis Athletic Club and Swim Club. She enjoyed sewing and tailoring and previously owned and operated Alterations by Darcy. Darcy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon, Ind. She enjoyed her grandchildren and going out to eat.
She is survived by her husband: Jerry Lee Morrison of Indianapolis, 3 daughters: Debbie Hahn of Saluda, NC, Dania Ann Remaly of Lafayette, IN, Darilyn (James) Siwek of Saluda, NC, 2 sons: Darrell Wayne (Cathy) Fairburn of Pittsboro, Drew Robert Morrison of Tucson, AZ, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by parents, son, Dean Scott Fairburn, 2 sisters, Diann DeWeese and Dania Pugh
Funeral Services
Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, October 1 2022 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
