David Alan Sexton, of Frankfort, Ind., passed away surrounded by family on his 68th birthday, September 11, 2023, in his sister’s home. He was born on September 11, 1955 in Frankfort to Robert Doyle and Dorothy Maxine (Kennedy) Sexton.
David attended Frankfort High School and later earned his GED. He was a Warehouse Supervisor for Firestone in Clearwater, Florida for 22 years, retiring in March of 2022. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Aerie 976 in Frankfort and was an avid sports fan – especially the Colts and Cubs. David’s biggest joy was spending time with family.
Surviving are his Sisters: Vicki (David) Robbins of Frankfort, Phyllis Louks of Rural Frankfort, and Sherry (Bruce) Wessel of Frankfort. Several Nieces, Nephews and extended family also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Mark and sister: Kathy.
Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort. The family requests that all in attendance wear Hawaiian shirts in honor of David’s love for them.
