Deborah E. King

Deborah E. King, 72, a former Frankfort resident, died May 28, 2023 at her home in Lafayette.  She was born February 22, 1951 in Clinton County to Billy Joe & Mary Jane (Lipp) Pearcy.  She was previously married to Gregory J. Douglass and they divorced.  She married Lloyd Dean King in May 1983 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2005.

 Deb was a 1970 graduate of Frankfort High School.  She worked as a Quality Assurance Administrator with Frito Lay for 30 ½ years, retiring in 2011.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Frankfort, Home Ec. Club, Eastern Star & Rainbow and the was coordinator for the Queen pageant and parade during the Sesquicentennial in Frankfort.

 Deb is survived by her daughter:, Andrea (Gary) Drew of Lafayette, son,  Chad Douglass of Minnesota, 5 grandchildren,  Cooper Anthony (Ashley) Douglass of Minnesota, Megan Jolene (Fiancé Ethan) of Florida, Avery Jane Drew of Lafayette, Brendan Job Douglass of Florida, Anna Jo Drew of Lafayette, and 1 great-grandson:  Aiden James Drew.

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Fraun Ulaine Pearcy.

 Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. June 10, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St. Frankfort.  Graveside service will follow at 12 Noon at Green Lawn Memorial Park.   Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude, Riley Hospital, American Cancer Society, Autism Society of Indiana or Cerebral Palsy Foundation.  Please visit goodwinfuneralhome.com, where you may leave a condolence.
