DeFouw Chevrolet BMW started its 51st annual Tent Sale this morning with Breakfast at the Lafayette Country Club. DeFouw team members, suppliers, managers, lenders and key vendors gathered to “Kick Off” the two week event with a keynote breakfast message from Purdue’s Head Football Coach Jeff Brohm.
Brohm shared some of the successes from last years 7-6 record, including Purdue’s win over Arizona in the post season Foster Farms Bowl. Last year was the first bid to a post season Bowl Game since 2011. Brohm will likely bring a mixture of high intensity play with some well executed surprises. Brohm told a humorous story about a particular play his wife suggested that went on to cash in for 4 touchdowns and gained yardage in 7 out of 7 attempts last year.
The DeFouw Chevrolet Tent sale, at 51 years, is the longest running automobile tent sale in the state of Indiana. The tent sale is being held at the Tippecanoe Fairgrounds on Teal Road in Lafayette from June 6 to June 22 from 8:30-9:00 PM each day except Sunday.
Kaspar Media’s 50,000 watt Shine 99 will broadcast LIVE from the tent sale from 3PM to 5PM on Thursday June 14.
