Delores “Dee” I. Coddington, also known as “Walmart Wonder Woman” 85, of Frankfort, passed away March 10, 2026 in her home. She was born on December 19, 1940 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Al and Jane Dora (Jacobs) Miller. She married Dennis L. Coddington, Sr. in 1999 and he survives.
Dee attended school in New York and worked as a security guard in New York. She had also worked at the Frankfort Middle School, Salvation Army, and most recently as a greeter at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. In her younger years, Dee was a body builder. She loved horses.
Surviving along with her husband: Dennis are her children: Daniel (Jill) Arnold of New York and Delores (Javier) Perez of Frankfort, step-children: Dennis (Amy) Coddington Jr. of Frankfort, and Angel (Mark) Unger of Bunker Hill, grandchildren: Dan Arnold of New York, Chevy Arnold of New York, Colby Arnold of New York, Sebastian Coddington (Natalie Piscoya) of Alaska, Abigail Coddington of Frankfort, Donald (Whitney) Collet of Ohio, Joshua Collet of Frankfort, Wesley Strain of Kokomo, Marcus (Brittany) Unger of Fort Wayne, and Shelby Unger of Bunker Hill, along with 3 great-grandchildren: Olden, Gavin, and Lillie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister at birth.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Prairie Creek Park, Frankfort. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
