The community of Delphi enjoyed a meeting with a mermaid at the Delphi Public Library in honor of National Mermaid Day.
The youth of Carroll County were invited to celebrate National Mermaid Day for a special “shell-ebration” with an “o-fish-ally” outstanding mermaid from the Indy Dive Center, Mermaid Cassie.
The event encapsulated a “fin-tastic” celebration of mermaid stories during the “Mermaid Day Storytime” event. The library expressed that the event proved successful as a result of the laughter and learning opportunities that the attendees experienced while engaging in literature.
“Let’s shell-ebrate this unforgettable encounter under the sea,” the library wrote.
