Just before noon on April 1, the Delphi Fire Department announced that a fire was reported on Hodges Drive, and the fire was described as endangering another structure, which caused the Monticello Fire Department and Brookston Prairie Township Fire Department crews to be requested for mutual aid.

Once Delphi Fire Department firefighters arrived on the scene, firefighters reported that they found a torn-down trailer on fire, and the crews worked to extinguish the fire without sustaining damage to any surrounding structures.

The department reported that no injuries were sustained by residents or emergency responders. The Delphi Fire Department was also assisted on the scene by Carroll County E911 and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
