The District 4 Fire Academy Firefighter 1 conducted live burning skills over the weekend with a Delphi Fire Department firefighter in attendance to bring back the skills and lessoned learned for the Delphi Fire Department to continue to grow and provide the best resources for the community.
The academy saw students conduct ventilation on a pitched roof, fire attack, VES and search and rescue over the weekend with Delphi Probationary Firefighter Zach Dauge in attendance alongside numerous other firefighters from across the area intent to learn more about the safety operations and the proper means of tackling a live burn situation.
