The Delphi Public Library is set to present a free concert for the community to enjoy to bring about Christmas cheer in Delphi on the busy, Christmas-filled day of Saturday, Dec. 7.
The library will host the wonderful sounds of The Joyful Sound Community Handbell Choir on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with free entry for community members at the Delphi Opera House at 109 S. Washington St. in Delphi.
The choir is an advanced, auditioned community handbell choir based in the greater Indianapolis area that was formed in 1999. The mission of the choir is to promote the art of English handbell ringing through performance, education and community outreach.
The choir features the ringing of six octaves of Schulmerich handbells and six octaves of Malmark chimes.
