Delphi Community School Corporation administrators released a statement regarding a report of threatening statements that involved the high school today, Jan. 24, deeming the threats “unsubstantiated.”
The corporation stated that following a thorough investigation by school administrators and law enforcement, the threat was determined to be unsubstantiated as there was no evidence of any danger to students or staff.
The corporation reported that a functional lockdown was initiated to ensure the safety of the students, staff and visitors while the situation was addressed and was lifted before noon. The corporation reported that all students and staff are safe and classroom activities continued as normal.
“We take all concerns seriously and remain committed to maintaining a secure learning environment,” the corporation released. “Thank you for your trust and support. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school office.”
