Dennise Lynn Hampton (McGuire), 67, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully at 1:45 pm on May 24, 2023, in Frankfort. She was born to the late Audra (Prince Bryan) and Charles McGuire, on August 28, 1955, in Elwood Indiana.
Dennise married the love of her life, Gregory Hampton, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2008. Dennise had attended Tipton Schools. Dennise went to work at an early age, and in her later years, she worked at the Frankfort Country Club and County Pride Restaurants for several years.
In her free time, Dennise enjoyed painting, putting puzzles together, drawing, and anything art or craft related. She had a true passion for following her Native American heritage, and she attended several powwows and loved to learn and read about her family heritage. She also had a gift for making beautiful jewelry and coloring.
Surviving Dennise are her children, Gregory (Cynthia) Hampton Jr. of Kentucky, Jeremy (girlfriend, Jennifer) Hampton of Frankfort, and Casey (Mercedes) Hampton of Frankfort; siblings, Charles McGuire, Clifford Bryan, Jeff Bryan, Randy Bryan, and Susie Jackson; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, Javonta.
Preceding Dennise in death are her sisters, LaVonne McGuire and Teresa McGuire.
