Diana S. Bodish, 75, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly April 16, 2022, at Witham Hospital in Lebanon.
Born June 22, 1946, in Frankfort, Diana was the daughter of Paul and Eunice (Godbey) Spray. After graduating from Frankfort Senior High School in 1964, Diana enjoyed a great career, which included 30 years as Executive Secretary at Great Lakes Chemical, a real estate agent with her husband at Tucker Real Estate in Zionsville, 10 years in administration at Frito Lay Traffic Center, part-time jobs at Ivy Tech, Label Shopper, Board of Health, and most recently, Diana had been creating custom coloring books to help children deal with grief during the passing of a loved one.
Besides being creative with the coloring books, Diana enjoyed gardening, creating jewelry, sewing, being a “cat mom” to Olivia and Grandma to her grandkids, and cooking and baking cookies for her grandkids and friends.
Diana married Gearren “Bo” Bodish, and they were parents to Cindy Shields and Patty Wann.
In addition to her daughter, Cindy (John) Shields, Diana is survived by her grandchildren, Morgan Shields, Kelsey Shields, Meghann Wann, and Madison Lehman-Stanley; and two brothers, Eddie (Sharon) Spray and John (Lillian) Spray.
Preceding Diana in death were her parents; husband; daughter, Patty Wann; grandson, Gearren “Baby Bo” Shields; sister, Emily Lahee; and brother, Rex Spray.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Green Lawn Cemetery, with Pastor Thomas Holton officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
