Distinguished Young Woman of Clinton County to be Named Saturday During County Wide Scholarship Competition

High school senior girls from across Clinton County will join together in Frankfort for the Distinguished Young Women of Clinton County program to be held Saturday December 8, at the Frankfort High School Auditorium. Participants will compete for $3000 in college scholarships and the opportunity to represent the county as the Distinguished Young Woman of Clinton County 2019.

The program is open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $5.

The four young women competing will be evaluated by a panel of three judges in the following categories: Scholastics (25%), Interview (25%), Talent (20%), Fitness (15%), and Self-Expression (15%). The participant selected as the Distinguished Young Woman of Clinton County will advance to the state level at the Distinguished Young Women of Indiana in Kokomo in February 2019, where she will join with other representatives from across the state in competing for cash scholarships and the opportunity to represent the program as the Distinguished Young Woman of Indiana.

Distinguished Young Women of Clinton County welcomes the following participants:
Josie Mattingly of Clinton Prairie High School, Katelyn Ramsey of Clinton Priarie High School, Mallory Robertson of Clinton Prairie High School, and Olivia Wyrick of Clinton Central High School.
