A Kirklin business has announced its expansion with the acquisition of a Maryland-based company, marking its second acquisition in less than a year.
Document Mountain in Kirklin announced that it has successfully finalized the acquisition of Medi Micro, a Maryland-based company specializing in document management services, marking its second strategic acquisition within the last six months. The newest acquisition will help Document Mountain extend its presence on the East Coast, which will coincide with its existing offices in North Carolina to further improve the services that it is equipped to provide.
Founder of Document Mountain Kevin Calhoun commented about the strategic and comprehensive benefits that the new acquisition of Medi Micro will provide for the business and the Kirklin community that surrounds the business.

Document Mountain has been making headlines in the past few years as they were awarded the undertaking of the Clinton County Courthouse digitzation project as the county moves toward the new annex.
