Dog Bowl Invites Community Members To Cram The Stands As Aspiring Middle School Football Stars Experience A Game Under The Lights Tonight, Oct. 2

Football enthusiasts, friends and family have been invited to cram the stands for the Dog Bowl tonight, Oct. 2 as the Frankfort Hot Dogs take on the Clinton Central Bulldogs in a middle school football showdown.

The Dog Bowl will kick off tonight, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Clinton Central Varsity Football Field. Concessions will be open for the game, and admission will operate on a free will donation. The goal of the game is to show 5th and 6th grade football players what a Friday night under the lights is all about.

“As a player of this age group, playing under the lights is one of the best feelings in the world,” Clinton Central Schools released. “Bring mom, dad, grandma, grandpa and whoever else you can fit in the car.”

All proceeds from the gate will be utilized to support the family who lost their home to a fire last Thursday apart from funds taken to pay the officials and cover any costs for the game.
