Don K. Peterson, 83, of rural Frankfort, died May 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. He was born January 28, 1936 in Frankfort, Ind. to Lloyd & Faye (Moore) Peterson. He married Rose Carrico on May 25, 1970 at the Baptist Parsonage and she survives.
Don was a 1954 gra
duate of Michigantown High School and was a lifelong Clinton County resident. He worked for Eli Lilly in maintenance for 28 years, retiring in 1993. Don was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was also a member of the RSES, Refrigerator Service Engineer Society, and enjoyed woodworking and tractors.
He is survived by: Wife: Rose Peterson of rural Frankfort, 2 Daughters: Flora (Ken) Dolley of San Antonio, TX, Billie (Brian) Henry of Frankfort, 2 Sons: Patrick Peterson of South Carolina, Frank (Bonita) Peterson of Oaklandon, Ind., 3 Step-Sons: Dennis Brown of Frankfort, Carl (Janice) Brown of Frankfort, Curtis Brown of Frankfort, 16 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Peterson and a step daughter, Melody Moss and a step son, Michael Brown.
Funeral Celebration
Visitation will be from 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral Celebration will begin at 11:30 am. Tuesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene.
