Don
L. McGuire, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on October 12, 2021, at I.U Health Arnett- Lafayette. He was born in Frankfort, Indiana on May 14, 1936, to Ethel Mae (Bartley) Ates. He married Rosemary A. Wells on April 15, 1956. She preceded him in death on Oct 15, 2003.
Don graduated from Frankfort High School. He worked at Kraft Music Company in Frankfort for 44 years. Don purchased the Smoke Shop in 1981 and owned it until the mid-2000s. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Don enjoyed fishing, golf, playing cards, boating, and hunting.
Don is survived by his daughter Lisa Keever of Clarks Hill, son Patrick McGuire of Frankfort; grandchildren Kipp Keever, Jordan Ekola, Chad McGuire, Kacey McGuire and Matt Wilson; and four great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his mother, wife, brother Harley, and sisters Lottie Myers and Barbara McGuire (infant).
Visitation will be Friday, October 15th, 2021, beginning at 2:00 pm until the start of the funeral service at 3 pm, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery.
