Donald David Grant, 79, of Martin, Tennessee, died October 15, 2020 at Diversicare of Martin. He was born November 15, 1940 in Blysdale, MO to the late Kenneth R. & Vergie May (Grogan) Grant. His first marriage was to Janet Avon Crawford. He then married Roberta H. (Wiley) Landes on July 1, 1989 and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2019.
Donald received his BS degree in information systems, working for specialty restaurants. He retired in 1999. He had lived in Green Cove Springs, FL, Moreno Valley, CA and LaPalma CA. He was of the Baptist faith.
Donald was a mariner and loved boats.
He is survived by 2 Sons: Kenneth R. (Dennise) Grant of Dresden, TN, David C. Grant of Van Nuys, CA, 2 Stepsons: David Landes Jr. of NC, Robert Landes of CA, 2 Sisters: Carol Grant Plennings of Georgetown, TX, Gloria Grant Inciong of Kula, HI, 1 Brother: Gary Grant of Sandis, OH, 3 Grandchildren & 1 Step Grandchild.
Funeral Services:
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Bunnell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Research. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
