Donald E. Edmonds, 92, of Kokomo, IN, died November 29, 2024 at Wellbrooke of Avon, Indianapolis. He was born October 4, 1932 in Frankfort to Walter Thomas & Hattie Goldie (Gilbert) Edmonds. He married 
Loretta M. Gladden on October 20, 1953 and she preceded him in death on July 15, 1994.
Don was a 1951 graduate of Frankfort High School, attended Purdue University for electrical engineering and received his BS degree in Physics from Butler University. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Don worked at General Motors/Delco Electronics for 30 years. Don had a home in North Port, Florida and was a member of the New Day Christian Church there. He also attended the Community Christian Church in Kokomo. Don enjoyed boating and traveling.
Don is survived by his sons, Bruce (Julie) Edmonds of Indianapolis, and Steve (Carolyn) Edmonds of Findlay, OH, sister, Phyllis Amich of Frankfort, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, sisters, Louise Slipher, Mary Thompson, Nadine Beard, son, David A. Edmonds and a brother, Lewis Edmonds.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Gordon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
