Donald R. Brightwell, 56, of Frankfort, died February 7, 2021 at his home following an illness. He was born October 2, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri to Donald & Madeline Carol (Gray) Brightwell. He married Samantha Diane Robinson on July 15, 1988 and she survives.
Don was a 1982 graduate of La
keview High School in Decatur, IL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 215 and loved working construction. Don was of the Southern Baptist faith. He loved his job and enjoyed fishing, camping, and having a good time.
He is survived by his Wife: Samantha Brightwell of Frankfort, 3 Sons: Shane (Rebecca) Brightwell of Lafayette, Job David (Ashley) Brightwell of Minier, IL, Justin R. Brightwell of Frankfort, 2 Daughters: Amber (Terence) Mallory of Plano, IL, Holly (Cory) McGinnis of Minier, IL, Parents: Donald & Madeline Brightwell, Sister: Linda Carol (William) Spires of Chatham, IL, 14 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.
Funeral Service:
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. No services are planned. Memorial donations may be made to Tippecanoe County Habitat for Humanity, 420 S 1st St., Lafayette, IN 47905.
