Donetta L. Motley, 77, of Rossville, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Mulberry Health. She was born in Frankfort on September 8, 1947, to Paul and Olive (Keck) Decker. She married Jack Motley February 14, 1991. He survives.
Donetta attended Frankfort Senior High School and Pilgrim Holiness. She worked at Federal Mogul for 28 years. She was a member of Rossville Bible Fellowship Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and camping with her friends and family. She loved life and others and was always willing to help anyone she could. She will be remembered for the smile she always had on her face and her positive outlook on life.
Along with her husband of 33 years, Donetta is survived by her children, Jim (Tracey) Smith, Lorie (Jerry) Kruger, Scott (Megan) Motley, Jamie Motley, and Jacki (Chad) McGill; sister, Pauline (Bill) McCoy; brothers, Fred (Peggy) Decker, Jim Decker, and John Decker; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Paul and Emerson Decker; sisters, Rose Gorman and Doris Budd; and a granddaughter, Natalie Smith.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 11am until the time of the service at 2pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel. Pastor Chris Albin will officiate.
