Donna Mae Kite, 85, of Rossville, passed away on February 8, 2024, at Milner Community Health Care.
Donna was born January 16, 1939, in Frankfort, the daughter of Donald B. and Josephine (Fisher) Mann. After graduating from Frankfort High School in 1956, she married Gary L. Kite on February 22, 1957, and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2021.
Donna was a life-long resident of Clinton and Carroll Counties and worked at P.R. Mallory and Alcoa. She was a member of the Brethren Church in Rossville and also attended Mulberry Baptist Church. She loved to knit, crochet and cross stitch.
Surviving Donna are her sons, Ricky Lee Kite and Roger E. Kite of Lafayette and Randy (Kristina) Kite of Frankfort; grandchildren, Kenneth and Kodi; step-grandchildren, Tiffany, Tasha and Heather; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Betty) Mann of Marietta, GA, and William (Joann) Mann of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Robert Mann; and a great grandchild, Grizzli.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 11am until the service at 1pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville. Memorials in Donna’s name may be made to the Rossville Lion’s Club. Messages of condolence to the family are welcomed at www.dayandgenda.com.
