r Frankfort resident, died March 29, 2023 at Signature Healthcare of Whitesburg Gardens, Huntsville, AL. She was born February 24, 1937 in Paintrock, AL to Charlie & Mary Elizabeth (Brooks) Byrd. She married John V. Worth on January 5, 1962 in Frankfort and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2003.
Doris attended New Hope School in Alabama. She had moved to Frankfort in 1962 and moved back to Alabama over 25 years ago. She was a homemaker and had formerly attended Zion Apostolic Church in Frankfort. Doris enjoyed playing Bingo, gardening, flowers and fishing.
She is survived by: 3 Daughters: Rita Shelley Williams of Huntsville, AL, Debbie (Bob) Ford of Lafayette, Angie (John) Thurman of Indianapolis, 3 Sons: Steve Crews of Huntsville, AL, Charles (Rebecca) Crews of Morocco, IN, John (Priscilla) Worth II of Frankfort, Brother: Nolan Byrd of Grant, AL, 26 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great Great-Grandchildren
Funeral Services:
