The Halloween season brought the largest crowd ever seen to downtown Frankfort last evening, Oct. 31 for the Frankfort Main Street Trick-or-Treat on the Square, Frankfort Police Department Trunk or Treat Party and Frankfort’s Unified Neighborhoods, known as F.U.N, Scare on the Square events.
Thousands of community members, from children to parents to grandparents, lined the streets of downtown Frankfort for a deliciously spooky night of trick-or-treating Halloween night. Businesses, organizations and more provided booths where candy was garnered, officers decorated their trunks and distributed sweet treats and trunksters joined the F.U.N members in decorating and celebrating the Halloween season.
Final results for the Scare on the Square Trunk or Treat contest saw the Halo-inspired trunk take the first-place prize, followed by Campos’ witchy setup in second and a shark-themed extravaganza taking third.
