On Friday September 15, a very special guest will be visiting Clinton County and we are reaching out to invite you to be part of the program. Dr. Rahul Gupta, who serves as the Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), will visit One80 to learn about our recovery community– with a specific interest in how employers in Clinton County are working with people in recovery.
As you may know, Dr. Gupta’s leadership position is often referenced as the U.S. “drug czar.” In addition, ONDCP is the source for our generous Drug-Free Communities grant funding. The visit will include a roundtable discussion followed by a brief tour of One80. Dr. Gupta will be joined by Dr. Jerome Adams, former U.S. Surgeon General and now health equity leader at Purdue. This is a wonderful opportunity to highlight our successes in Clinton County to a national leader.
