Rossville Consolidated School District Superintendent Dr. Jim Hanna will present at the Zonar Together Conference on Friday, January 16, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona. The national conference brings together school leaders, pupil transportation professionals, and fleet safety experts from across the country with a shared focus on enhancing safety systems and operational accountability for schools.
Hosted by Zonar Systems, Zonar Together is an annual user conference designed to connect education and transportation leaders through keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions, and peer-led discussions centered on student safety, emergency response, and the effective use of technology in school transportation.
Dr. Hanna will deliver a customer presentation titled “From Uncertainty to Assurance: Real Stories of Safety and Innovation,” highlighting Rossville Consolidated School District’s experience using Zonar technology to strengthen student transportation safety and operational confidence
His session will feature a real emergency scenario involving a medical incident on a school bus and will demonstrate how real-time GPS data, geofencing, digital inspections, and automated alerts can support faster emergency response, improve accountability, and enhance leadership oversight.
During the presentation, Dr. Hanna will outline how Rossville’s rural routes, multi-county geography, and limited resources require reliable, real-time information to ensure student safety. He will emphasize how integrated transportation technology can transform uncertainty into assurance by providing precise vehicle locations, reinforcing inspection compliance, monitoring driver behavior, and delivering immediate operational feedback.
