Elizabeth “Bunny” Diane Boggess, age 55, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Lafayette Rehabilitation. She was born February 10, 1970, in Frankfort to John Robert Boggess and Cindy (Clark) Sparks.
Bunny attended Frankfort Senior High School in Frankfort. She was a Christian woman and loved her Lord. You could often see her shopping at the Dollar Tree. She enjoyed listening to country music and was a fan of Betty Boop, butterflies, flowers, tattoos, and Chevy, and an avid cat lover. She loved being outside, enjoyed taking rides and going on an adventure. But above all, she loved her family especially her kids and grandkids. Her ornery nature and great sense of humor will be missed by those that knew and loved her, including her contagious laugh.
Bunny is survived by her children, Cortney (Will White) Russell, Cody (Kasey) Harshman, Stacia (Malven) Harshman, Kory (Kaley Weaver) Harshman, Paula (Chuck Fry) Harshman; her parents, Bob (Rose) Boggess and Cindy Sparks; siblings, Stacey (Curtis) Coon, Christian (Lauren) Cole, Joshua Cole, Benjamin (Kristen) Boggess), Janna (Mickcalla) Rhine, Allen Colen, Dawn (Mike) Spurling, Brandi Lovorn; a companion Chuck Morton; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, John; a granddaughter, Chevy, and a stepmother, Sheila.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm at Day and Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will be at Bunnell Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses. Messages of condolences may be left at
