Enjoy Blue Chips Video Reporting On Movie’s Premiere

Clinton County Daily News punctuates your weekend with a fun blast-from-the-past video.

Enjoy climbing into your time machine and returning to the excitement of Frankfort, Indiana 1994.  Frankfort became the location for several scenes from the major Paramount Hollywood Production “Blue Chips” starring Nick Nolte, Mary McDonnell, Shaquille O’Neal, Bobby Knight and others.

The 108 minute film cost $35 million dollars to produce but only made $23 million at the box office.

WILO/Shine 99 did a remote broadcast on location during the filming nights at Case Arena and then later attended the premiere.

Don Rogan was manager of the Frankfort Cinema at the time and had a strong connection to WILO as Morning Host/Program Director and husband of WILO/Shine 99 account executive Ayten Rogowski.  Don Rogan is in the video below.
