Everett L. “Bud” Pruett, 87, of Frankfort died on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Signature Health Care in Lebanon, Ind. He was born February 7, 1931 in Frankfort, Ind. to William H. & Alma E. (Hollen) Pruett. He married Donna Faye Derringer on August 10, 1956 in Frankfort and she preceded him in death on December 11, 2014.
Bud was a life long Frankfort resident and attended Frankfort High School. He served in the United States Marines in the Korean War. He retired from ALCOA in Lafayette after working there for 33 years. He then worked with Melvin Sheets as a contractor. He was a former member of the Marine Corp League, Eagles Lodge, VFW, American Legion, and the Elks, all of Frankfort. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by: Son: Rodney W. Pruett of Frankfort, Grandson: Matthew C. (Kaitlyn) Pruett of Galveston, Great Granddaughter: Emmalyn Pruett. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters: Bonnie McKinzie, Margie Beechler, and Doris Lamb.

Burial with military honors was held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort.
