The Clinton County Fair Board is looking to make some long term improvements ahead of next year’s fair. President Jamie Blacker says they are talking with county council members and commissioners to make it a bright future at the fairgrounds. Blacker says they are hoping to build at least one more barn by the time next year’s fair begins. Blacker says the 4-H is getting ready to start their “species meeting. He says they are currently taking bids on a manure structure and are hoping to build at least one more barn by the time next year’s fair begins. He says they have a board that really gets involved. Blacker says this past year the fair was profitable, which is a good start.
