Owners who need space to store their equipment during the winter months are invited to take part in the Clinton County Fairgrounds Winter Storage Program. Through this program the Clinton County Fair Council provides space in Clinton Hall and the Livestock Show Arena for equipment such as boats, RVs, cars, etc.
Program organizer Skip Davis says, “Equipment will be received on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 8 a.m. Reservations are not accepted as entry is on a first come – first served basis. The charge is $10.00 for each foot in length for each item stored.” Davis adds, “Each item presented for storage will be photographed for security purposes and measured to insure owners pay no more than is necessary.” When approaching the fairgrounds, drivers should look for signs indicating were to enter.
When it comes time for owners to retrieve their equipment, Davis says, “that date has been moved up two weeks so we can accommodate other demands for Clinton Hall. The new date is March 23, 2019 at 8 a.m.” Davis believes, “This change will give owners a chance to have their equipment serviced earlier.”
