Community members will have an opportunity to help save lives while earning a special reward during an upcoming American Red Cross blood drive at Faith Family Church.
The blood drive will take place on Friday, June 5, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Faith Family Church, 508 W. Green Street in Frankfort.
The event is part of a partnership between the American Red Cross and Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. Individuals who donate blood will receive a ticket to a Six Flags theme park of their choice while supplies last.
Blood donations are critical to maintaining an adequate supply for hospitals and emergency medical providers. A single donation can help multiple patients in need of lifesaving transfusions, making community blood drives an important resource for local and regional healthcare systems.
