At approximately 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Boone County Sheriff’s Office and Thorntown Police Department were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic accident with ejection at 5630 West State Road 47 in Boone County, IN.
Upon arrival, a 2004 red Jeep Liberty was located rolled over into the ditch on the north side of State Road 47, and an unresponsive adult female was located near the vehicle. Amber Williams, 45-years-old of Lebanon, IN, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Boone County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team was requested to investigate the accident which is still under investigation.
