FEMA Representatives in Clinton County and City of Frankfort Last Friday

City officials and EMA met with FEMA Friday morning, to discuss the damage to the City of Frankfort.

FEMA will walk door to door for location assessments throughout Frankfort starting Friday, April 21. Residents may see unknown personnel on their property. FEMA, a department of Homeland Security, will have a blue vest with credentials. Residents can ask to see credentials but will not be able to take pictures of the credentials for safety measures.

Local law enforcement and the Clinton County Central Dispatch met the FEMA team this afternoon. FEMA has indicated they will be in Clinton County for at least a month if not more to assess the storm damage.

Clinton County Emergency Management (EMA) will collect the address for residential damage. EMA will give FEMA addresses as calls come into their office. FEMA cannot ask for names. FEMA is asking residents ONLY to provide addresses.
