FHS Boys’ Cross Country Season Ends at Semi-State

The season came to an end for the Frankfort High School boys’ cross country team Saturday at the New Prairie Semi-State.

The Hot Dogs failed to advance as a team and did not have any individuals qualify for next week’s state meet. Also not qualifying for state was FHS girls’ cross runner Carina Alanis.

The following are the results from the meet.

Boys’ Results

Team Winner — Crown Point 93 (Frankfort finished 18th at 475).

Other State Qualifying Teams — Valparaiso 107, Chesterton 112, West Lafayette 140, Harrison 165, Lake Central 195.

Individual Winner — Lucas Guerra (Highland) 15:31.7.

Team Winner — West Lafayette 93 (Frankfort no team score, Clinton Prairie no team score).
