FHS Boys’ Soccer Falls to Twin Lakes
Thursday night the Frankfort boys varsity soccer team hosted Twin Lakes in regular season play.  The Hot Dogs honored 12 seniors who were playing in their last varsity home game for the Hot Dogs. Twin Lakes would find the back of the net first on a free kick and take a 1-0 lead into halftime.  The Hot Dogs would redouble their efforts in the second half in an attempt to send the seniors off the pitch the last time with a win.  Frankfort’s recent woes in finishing would continue to haunt them in the second half with several shots being just high of the net or hitting the cross bar or posts.  Twin Lakes scored again with 12 minutes remaining on a very quick counter strike off a Frankfort missed shot.  Twin Lakes survived the onslaught of  shots put up by Frankfort and defeated the Hot Dogs 2-0.  Frankfort ends the regular season with a record of 8-7-1.
The Frankfort boys junior varsity soccer team defeated Twin Lakes 2-0 Tuesday night.  The Hot Dogs controlled much of the possession in  the match.  Scoring for Frankfort was junior Manny Morales and sophomore Alex Campos. Freshman Izzy Santillan and junior Alex Perez each recorded an assist on the night.  The junior varsity team ends the season with a record of 6-1-2.

Tennis Sectional

The tennis season ended Wednesday night, as the Dogs lost to Zionsville 5-0. The Hot Dogs represented Frankfort well all season, and the final match in sectionals was no different.  The Dogs were competitive and played with good self- discipline and sportsmanship.  Jim Ostler put together a great match as he competed at two singles against a very talented Zionsville.  He was able to grab 5 games in the first set and kept the pressure on his opponent.  Although he lost both sets, he played a smart and determined, in his final match of the season.
