Pickleball players will soon have their chance to test their skills at the Rough N’ Tough Pickleball Tournament, set for Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the TPA Park pickleball courts in Frankfort.
The tournament is open to intermediate doubles and advanced doubles teams as well as an open division for singles. The intermediate doubles division begins at 1 p.m., with start times for other divisions and events to be announced after the registration deadline.
Competition will follow a round robin to bracket-style format. Each match will be played to 11 points, win by 2. Medal matches will be best of three games, first to 11, win by 2.
Registration is $10 per player, per event and must be paid upon arrival by cash, CashApp, or Venmo. Players must register by Friday, September 5, at 12 p.m. by emailing Roughntoughtourney@gmail.com. When registering, players should include their name, their partner’s name, skill level (intermediate or advanced), and whether they are competing in doubles or singles.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. In addition, winners in each division will take home a $150 gift card to The Angry Donkey.
Organizers encourage players to sign up soon to secure their spot in what promises to be a competitive—and fun—day of pickleball.
