Final Demolition Derby Of The Season Held Saturday At Clinton County Fairgrounds

The final demolition derby of the season was held Saturday afternoon at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

There were a lot of spectators in attendance to enjoy the show and sunshine.

The first heat was Power Wheels for 8 young drivers in which they were all winners and received a bag of Halloween goodies.

The next heat was the “Youth Compact” with 4 young drivers and the winner was Channing Wylie.

Truck Heat was next with 3 entries and the winner was Dick Wright.

Motor Swap Class was next with 7 entries and the winner was Chris Bray.

Mad Dog hard hitting class was next with 5 entries and winner was Eddie Woodhouse winning a $2,000 prize.

The Gut n Go heat was the last event with 26 entries and a ton of excitement. One car flipped on it’s side with no injuries to anyone. The staff flipped it back up and the driver took off to finish the heat. Although he did not win the heat was able to continue. Korbin Smith was the winner in this heat.
