The Shelter in Place that was issued late Monday afternoon was cancelled shortly after 6 p.m. Monday after being in place for almost two hours.
The Shelter in Place was due to high particulate count from structure fire on 600 West Kyger Street in Frankfort.
Indiana Department of Environmental Management is on scene monitoring particulate levels from smoke caused by the structure fire. IDEM advising shelter in place and recommends turning ventilation to your home, In the perimeter from Barner Street north to Willow Street and east on Rossville Avenue, and West of State Road 75 and South of Union Road. This is per the Frankfort Fire Department.
