Team spots are filling quickly for the 2nd Annual Fire Pizza Golf Outing, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, at Chippendale Golf Club.
Organizers announced that 12 of the tournament’s 32 team spots have already been claimed, leaving just 20 openings for golfers who want to participate while supporting local charities.
The four-person scramble costs $300 per team, with 100% of the tournament proceeds being divided equally among three organizations serving the surrounding communities:
- Carroll Manor, sponsored by Fire Pizza Flora
- Turnabout Community Resource Center, sponsored by Fire Pizza Russiaville
- Emmaus Mission Center, sponsored by Fire Pizza Walton
Each team registration includes:
- 18 holes of golf with a cart
- Dan’s Donuts and burgers served on the course
- A Fire Pizza lunch following the round
- Entry into all contests and prize opportunities
Sponsorship Opportunities Available
Businesses and community members who would like to support the event without golfing can still get involved through sponsorships.
Gold Sponsors receive a team entry for four golfers, a course sign and featured recognition on social media for $500.
Hole or Tee Sponsors can promote their business with a course sign for $100.
Fire Pizza is also accepting raffle prize donations, including gift cards, gift baskets and other quality items to be awarded during the event.
With the tournament already more than one-third full, organizers encourage teams and sponsors to register soon before all 32 spots are filled.
Those interested in registering a team, becoming a sponsor or donating a raffle item can contact Fire Pizza through its Facebook page.
