The competition is an initiative of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce developed through its BizExcel entrepreneurship program. The program connects local entrepreneurs and small business owners with education, funding, professional expertise and other resources.
“This is a chance to celebrate the people who are investing in Carroll County by building and growing businesses here,” said Amy Beechy, BizExcel program manager. “These five finalists have exciting plans for growth, and we’re looking forward to giving the community an opportunity to hear their stories and support them.”
Community members, business owners and others interested in supporting local entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served.
