It’s time to get creative and festive as the Flora Depot Gingerbread House Contest returns this holiday season. Bakers, builders, and decorators of all ages are invited to join the fun and show off their best gingerbread creations.
The contest is open to kids, teens, and adults, with prizes awarded in each category. Entries must be dropped off by November 26 at Flowers & Friends, 12 W. Columbia Street in Flora.
Visitors can also take part in the People’s Choice contest by voting for their favorite gingerbread house, while judges will select their top picks.
All proceeds from the contest will benefit the Flora Depot Railroad and Local History Museum, supporting efforts to preserve the community’s heritage.
