Florence M. Fry, 57, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 14, 1963 in White County to Leroy and Mary (Hubler) Pettit. She was a 1982 graduate of Delphi high School. She married Charles Fry, Sr. on November 6, 1983. He survives.
Florence worked several jobs over her years, including Marathon Gas Station in Burlington, McDonalds in Lafayette, and Budget Inn in Lafayette. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, especially Rummie, and loved being involved with her children and their activities.
Along with her husband of 36 years, she is survived by her sons, Charles Fry, Jr. (Fiance, Paula Harshman) and Brian Fry, both of Frankfort; brothers, J.D. Pettit, Leroy Pettit, Jr., John Pettit; sisters, Ida Pettit and Francis Hood; and step-grandchildren, Hayden and Tyeler Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Marvin Pettit; and sister, Margie Pettit.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will follow at Ball Hill Cemetery in Cutler.
