Four Vehicle Accident on 39 South Results in No Major Injuries

Four vehicles traveling on 39 South of Frankfort entangled in an accident near Reagan Road involved 9 persons. Two vehicles were northbound and two were southbound.  The chain reaction 4 vehicle crash was apparently a car-passing accident.  Fortunately, “no major injuries” or emergency transport was needed by EMS, according to an observer at the scene.

A northbound vehicle on Indiana 39 apparently tried to pass another northbound car, and then decided to not pass due to on-coming traffic.  The northbound vehicle clipped the “to be passed” car while merging back into the northbound lane. The oncoming southbound vehicle was also clipped in the process, apparently involving a fourth vehicle also southbound.
